At GCRS, I serve as a Recreational Officer and Program Facilitator, contributing to the growth and engagement of our participants through various initiatives.

Accessible Film & Media Program

Every Wednesday, I facilitate the Accessible Film & Media Program, which we proudly launched at the beginning of 2024. This program has been an incredible addition to GCRS, providing participants with the opportunity to explore the exciting world of film and media. With the support of our fantastic external facilitators, John Cavallaro and Brooke Stephens, we’ve developed a curriculum that includes filming projects, editing workshops, and acting sessions—all tailored to meet the individual needs and abilities of our participants.

In just a short time, we have seen tremendous growth in their skills and confidence. It has been an inspiring journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it leads. Check out PLAY Productions on YouTube to see some of our amazing work!

The Most Rewarding Part of My Day

One of the best moments of my day is arriving at GCRS and seeing the excitement on our participants’ faces—then watching them leave with even bigger smiles. The joy and sense of achievement they experience make this role truly rewarding.

Interests & Hobbies

Outside of work, I have a strong passion for sports, particularly basketball, rugby union, and cricket. I also love traveling—both around Australia and internationally—and whenever possible, I try to combine my love for sports and travel into one adventure.
